Responsibilities
- Locate and pick items from inventory based on order specifications using pick lists or electronic systems
- Ensure accuracy in selecting products, verifying quantities, and matching items to order documentation
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if necessary)
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing, labeling, and organizing products efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus)
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for using inventory management systems or pick lists
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new hires
