Our client, a busy produce distribution center in Florence, NJ, is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
- Operate an electric pallet jack to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Load, unload, move, and stage pallets of produce.
- Pull and organize product for orders and shipments.
- Safely stack and store products in designated locations.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Perform physical work in a temperature-controlled/cold warehouse environment as required.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Stand-up forklift experience required.
- Electric pallet jack experience required.
- Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and stack products.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Must follow all safety procedures.
